Almost summer &+ I'm moving on

So it's almost summer yerr!!

I realy do think they're right when they say middle school is where you "find yourself."
I always thought that sounded realy stupid. But now I've realized they weren't kidding. I found all my true friends this year, I found out who and what I want in my life, and just what I want for my life. Even though this year is almost over, I think next year will be great, seeing as I know what I want.

Sooo as I said I've realized who my real friends are. I'm so glad, because now I know that I don't have to roll with the populars to have fun. I have so much fun with my actual friends. It's almost weird that when I ask someone if they wanna hang they aren't too busy, and when I tell someone a secret it's not known by everyone the next day. Just this month alone I think I've had more fun than ever. I've been going to sleepovers like every weekend, and more and more insiders are being created, it's great and I'm realy happy.

On the other hand though, it's been a tough year too. The beggining was the worst, because I was looking for a place where people wouldn't treat me like the "Dumb Blonde," or expect me to do things I'm just not ready to do. I've realy had to let go of people that treated me like that, I didn't want my reputation to be ruined by other people so I had to let go.

The one person I didn't know if I was ready to let go of was my " Best Friend." We would always make plans that never followed through, and then I would hear that she was hanging out with girls that didn't like me, and lieing about having to do something else. It would start fights, and then I would forgive her. It happened so many times, she'd ditch me and act like nothing happened, and I kept forgiving her. After so many times of this happening I realized that it was not okay. She always made me look like the bad guy in these fights, and I was done excepting it.

So I started hanging out with other people, and she would get mad and say "What-ever, have fun with your friends." I just ignored it, and to my surprise it's actualy working.

She's getting other "popular" friends and getting a great (not!!!) reputation with boys, and I have moved on, made new bestfriends, and my reputation has stayed the same. I'm still the same person I've always been, just with nicer friends, a better attitude, and I am way more happy then before :)
